Since 2012 – Karjamõisa OÜ has been a member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
2013 – We opened our new production facility in the former Are municipality (today’s Tori municipality).
2014 – Karjamõisa OÜ was awarded as the Best Company of Are municipality.
2015, 2016, 2017 and 2024 – Recognized as an Estonian Gazelle Company.
2016 – Karjamõisa OÜ was awarded the internationally recognized FSSC22000 food safety certification by Bureau Veritas. That same year, we began exporting to EU markets and obtained official organic certification.”
2016 – With the support of the Leader program, we expanded our production facility with a new cold storage chamber, rails, and cooling equipment for meat preservation. This investment increased our storage capacity by approx. 20 tons, enabling more efficient handling of both organic and game meat.
2021 – Karjamõisa OÜ was listed in the Äripäev Food Industry TOP.
2022–2023 – We expanded our production facility and installed new equipment with the support of the Estonian Rural Development Plan (Measure 4.2.1). This investment enhanced product quality, improved working conditions for our employees, and increased overall production capacity.
2023 – We launched an energy security project under the Food Industry Investment Support Program (Measure 4.2.6), focusing on renewable energy solutions. With this support, we began building solar power plants and installing energy storage systems and generators. By producing and using energy on-site, we reduce transmission losses, while storage systems ensure the use of renewable energy even at night for refrigeration, freezing, and preservation.
2024 – Through a Leader project, we invested in modern equipment including a crate washer, a cattle leg cleaning unit, and a hoof removal system. These upgrades help us improve efficiency, reduce employee workload, minimize waste, and support more sustainable production
2025 – Implementation of the project “Green Audit in Karjamõisa OÜ”, co-funded by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (NextGenerationEU). The audit assessed the company’s sustainability and green capacity and identified more sustainable alternatives for future business development. Grant amount: €9,030.
